Piers Morgan, 56, recently said he has “no idea” what his next career move will be following his departure from Good Morning Britain and now it appears as though he has something in the bag. The presenter quit the ITV show last month after sparking 51,000 Ofcom complaints with comments about Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle.
Today, he left his fans guessing as he tweeted: “Just got some incredible news. Will post a bit later.”
One user wrote: “Your going to GB news.”(sic)
A second commented: “Is it your own breakfast show on @GBNEWS?
“I hope so because we’re all a bit lost in the mornings – I’ve resorted to just being on your Twitter every morning.”
The presenter has been enjoying more time with his family following his departure from Good Morning Britain.
Since quitting, he has celebrated his 56th birthday and said it was good to do so without having to get up early with a hangover.
He gave fans an insight into his celebrations by sharing pictures of him enjoying a drink alongside his children in his garden.
Yesterday, he shared a selfie of him smoking a cigar as he joked about his next move.
