‘Million Dollar Listing’ star Ryan Serhant wants to be your landlord

Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” star Ryan Serhant is taking on a new property listing: His own family’s NYC penthouse, which he’ll be renting out for $15,000 a month.

Serhant has lived in the 2,000-square-foot condominium in West Soho with his family since 2015. But he recently finished renovations on a Brooklyn townhouse he acquired about four years ago, and he plans to move in to create more space for his family.

Now, as he searches for the right tenant, he’s looking back on what made the place so special to begin with.

“It was my listing. I sold it to myself because I knew it was a great deal,” he told The Post. “People walking in knew they would need to make changes and found it daunting, but for me, it was the perfect apartment.”

“I did the math against comparables, and I knew I could do the work better than anybody else,” he said.

Serhant, 36, purchased the lofty, private condominium in 2014 with his now-wife Emilia Bechrakis, 35, when the place was dark and outdated.

“It was delivered with dark floors, brown leather cabinets with red interiors, fluorescent lights, black and brown tile bathrooms — it was very dark,” he said. “It was great when we finally had our home [after renovations]. We were super excited to move in.”

His household now includes their 2-year-old daughter, Zena, and Bechrakis’ mother, who helps take care of Zena.

“We love it a lot, which is why I’m not selling it. Because the area is only going to get better, so we want to keep it. But we’re happy to let someone borrow it,” he told The Post.

"I wanted high ceilings and a really big living and dining space,” he told the Post.

"I couldn’t find a three bedroom with a bonus space [the office] that has a lofty, downtown feel and doesn’t share a hallway," said Serhant.

With interior designer Robin Baron, they gut-renovated the interior and added a bathroom and closet space. They moved into their new apartment with light wood floors, a new kitchen and bathrooms, stone settings and luxurious finishes on Valentine’s Day 2015.

“We love it a lot, which is why I’m not selling it," said Serhant.

So what will the affluent renter-to-be get when they sign on as a Serhant tenant? Two outdoor terraces, a chef’s kitchen, an office and expansive entertaining spaces, to start.

The chef’s kitchen has white marble countertops and luxurious finishes, plus a built-in wine rack.

"We’re happy to let someone borrow it,” Serhant told the New York Post.

The home’s office space — which Serhant used as a playroom for his daughter — and its outdoor space make it an attractive property during the coronavirus pandemic, when many New Yorkers have resorted to living and working in their homes.

The home has two terraces and is located near Hudson River Park, which is a family favorite.

“There have been birds chirping on the terraces in the mornings these days,” he said. “The [main] terrace is massive, and it’s perfect for getting sun, reading, taking phone calls or working because it has the fire pit, greenery, huge views — it’s all about the views looking south.”

Scott Hill of SERHANT is the co-listing agent on the property.
