Ottawa police are investigating a hit-and-run collision in the west end on Saturday that sent one person to hospital.
The incident occurred shortly after noon at the intersection of Terry Fox Drive and Halkirk Avenue, in Kanata. Soon after, nearby residents reported seeing a white Chevrolet Cruz with extensive damage to its rear passenger side and its airbags deployed, driving through a residential neighbourhood.
Shortly before 3 p.m., police announced they had found the vehicle.
According to police, the person taken to hospital suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
