Meghan Markle praised as ‘wonderful’ by Chrissy Teigen
Ms Teigen – a supermodel, author and TV personality – has openly supported Meghan and her husband Prince Harry in recent months. Based in California — just like the Sussexes — Ms Teigen has spoken out about how Meghan got in contact with her after a particularly traumatic experience last year. The supermodel endured a devastating miscarriage in late September, and shared her story on social media to help erase the social stigma surrounding the subject.
Meghan also shared her own experience of miscarriage in November, when she explained in a moving New York Times’ piece that she lost her second child that summer.
Ms Teigen then explained on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that the Duchess had “connected” with her over their shared experience.
She said: “Yeah, she’s been so kind to me ever since we connected.
“She had written [to] me about baby Jack and loss, but yeah, she is really wonderful and so kind, just as kind as everyone says she is.”
Addressing their friendship again recently, Ms Teigen told Entertainment Tonight: “I feel like our world has just got so small, through this whole pandemic and everything.

“We have to go to Montecito and chill in the chicken house, Archie’s Cluckin’ Hut?”
The supermodel was referring to Archie’s Chick Inn, the chicken coop which featured in Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March.
The couple told the US TV host that they set up this chicken coop to house rescued factory hens at their new home in Montecito.
At the time, Harry said: “She’s always wanted chickens.”
Meghan replied: “Well you know, I just love rescuing.”
Speaking to Oprah from the chicken coop, Meghan also said they really enjoyed their new life in California as they could “live authentically” by “getting back down to the basics”.

The couple explained how much they liked to get outside with their son, who turns two this week.
Harry explained: “To have outdoor space where I can go for walks with Archie and we go for walks as a family and with the dogs.
“You know, we go on hikes or go down to the beach, which is so close.”
Ms Teigen’s mention of her friendship with the Sussexes came ahead of Global Citizen’s VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World — where she was a guest for the occasion, alongside other A-listers such as Ben Affleck, Gayle King and Jimmy Kimmel.
She also joked on Instagram about how she had struggled with her lines in front of the 20,000-strong audience.
She said: “I missed that, I miss people so much. I miss making people smile and laugh. My purpose.”

Harry and Meghan, who were both chairs of the concert, were expected to make an appearance for the occasion.
However, Meghan — who is heavily pregnant with the couple’s second child — pulled out last minute, while Harry gave a speech on his own.
He said: “We cannot rest or truly recover until there is a fair distribution [of Covid vaccines] to every corner of the world.”
Meghan and Chrissy Teigen actually worked on Deal or No Deal at the same time as briefcase models
While Meghan and Ms Teigen are thought to have only recently got in touch, they actually both worked on Deal or No Deal as models carrying the suitcases at the same time.
Biographer Sean Smith explained in his 2020 book, ‘Meghan Misunderstood’, how Ms Teigen had described the Duchess before their friendship really blossomed.
According to Mr Smith, Ms Teigen said: “I remember her just being very quiet and sweet.
“Just really kind and I don’t say that about anybody.”
