Stroke: The simple exercise that improves blood pressure and lowers risk of stroke

While age and genetic predispositions are significant factors for stroke, the vast majority of risk elements for the condition remain modifiable.

In 2016, a study identified 10 factors that accounted for about 90 percent of the risk of having a stroke.

The worst culprits were high blood pressure, lack of exercise, poor diet and smoking.

However stress, excessive alcohol consumption, heart problems, diabetes and high cholesterol were also identified as offenders.
